About the Spotsy250 Family Festival
The Spotsy250 Family Festival is the official kickoff celebration of America's 250th Anniversary for Spotsylvania County. Families will walk through time as local businesses, schools, and organizations transform booths into living snapshots of history—from 1776 to 2026.
The event blends history, education, music, food, and fun to honor 250 years of community, creativity, and progress. Whether you're an educator looking to engage students, a business seeking community visibility, or a volunteer passionate about local heritage, there's a place for you at Spotsy250.
